The hardest bosses in Cuphead

Cuphead has a huge variety of bosses, levels, and powers, and with the latest DLC Ms Chalice this number is much larger, so I will only mention those from the base game and leave out the levels that despite being very good and important, do not have any great characters that stand out. So below, the hardest bosses in Cuphead.

Inicio de Cuphead

Grim Matchstick

Grim Matchstick, pictured above, is a green dragon that attacks from the bottom of the screen. This boss has three phases, each more difficult than the last. In the first phase, Grim throws fireballs and rings of fire that move in up-and-down and down-and-up patterns. The second phase introduces small flames that jump around the screen, the most difficult of which, and the third phase is the most difficult, as Grim splits into three heads that launch fire attacks in multiple directions. The need to constantly move and dodge attacks from all angles makes Grim Matchstick one of the hardest bosses in Cuphead, as well as a charismatic one.

The Devil

The final boss of the game, what can be said more, is literally the conclusion of the video game. The final battle has four phases, each with unique and dangerous attacks. In the first phase, The Devil launches trident attacks and summons his minions to attack you. The second phase introduces falling platforms, requiring precise movement. The third phase is an aerial battle against The Devil's Head, which launches electrical and projectile attacks. The fourth and final phase is a battle against The Devil's Heart, which launches fast, hard-to-dodge attacks. The combination of fast attacks and the need to constantly move make this battle extremely difficult.

Rumor Honeybottoms

Rumor Honeybottoms is a queen bee that forces you to move vertically while dodging attacks. The battle has three phases, each with unique and challenging attacks. In the first phase, Rumor throws energy balls and summons her minions to attack you. The second phase introduces moving platforms and projectile attacks, and the third phase is an aerial battle against the queen bee, who launches fast, hard-to-dodge attacks.

Dr. Kahl’s Robot

What can we say about the inspiration for the Iron Giant, a robot controlled by a mad scientist named Dr. Kahl's. This robot has several unexpected attacks and phases, it can launch its head or shoot rays from its inner cabin, that's how strange and interesting it is. Just for being the inspiration for the Iron Giant in a cartoon version, it deserves to be on the top list of the hardest bosses in Cuphead, the design of the robot and the background is nice, and the phases of this level are very complicated.

Cagney clavel

The best of all the bosses, the most well-known carnation in the history of video games, and the most hated too, since it is a super complicated boss, since it has several phases, each one more difficult than the last, what can I say about this carnation, besides the fact that the level design is very nice, the shadows, movements, the other objects that bother you, for me, one of the most difficult bosses in Cuphead.

El clavel malvado

Are there more hardest bosses in Cuphead?

Yes, there are most likely many more hardest bosses in Cuphead, but in my opinion these are the best in everything, in design, in difficulty, in charisma, but if I put the title "The most charismatic and best designed bosses in Cuphead" no one would enter, so this was the Top of the best bosses in the Cuphead video game, not counting the Ms. Chalice DLC of course.
