The current Brawl Stars meta in December 2024!
Finally, we've reached December, and with it come balance changes along with the new season. In the meantime, we have a new meta in Brawl Stars with the inclusion of a new brawler. So, this is the Brawl Stars meta for December.
Shade
The new sweater in early access is key in the Brawl Stars meta for December. We already did a post about him, but in short, this Brawler stands out for his ability to pass through walls, allowing him to avoid direct attacks and maneuver easily around the map. In Brawl Ball mode, his ability to bypass the edges of the map makes him almost invincible while active, allowing for surprising plays and securing victory for his team. These features make the new sweater a powerful and strategic addition to the game, capable of turning the tide of a match in favor of his team.
The best Shade build:
Gadget: Longarms
Star power: Hardened hoodie
Gear 1: Health
Gear 2: Shield
Juju
This Brawler returns to the Brawl Stars meta mainly thanks to her pet, Gris Gris. Juju is a witch with three different types of basic attacks: earth, water, and bushes, and a unique ability to walk on water. This combination of abilities makes her a formidable and strategic addition to the game, allowing for new tactics and plays that can change the course of matches. With such impressive abilities, she couldn't be left out of the Brawl Stars meta for December
Best Juju build:
Gadget: Elementalist
Star power: Guarded Gris-Gris
Gear 1: Damage
Gear 2: Shield
Stu
This Brawler remains a popular choice in the Brawl Stars meta due to his powerful supercharge. Whether you choose the star power that allows you to heal or the one that extends his ultimate, this Brawler proves to be very effective in combat. However, it is important to note that a great deal of skill and finger speed is required to play him at the highest level. Only those with quick reflexes and dexterity can make the most of his abilities and become nearly unstoppable in the game.
Stu's best build:
Gadget: Demolition
Star Power: Any one
Gear 1: Damage
Gear 2: Shield
Clancy
What can be said about this Brawler that was irrelevant for two months after its release? We all know that if you are close to him, he will most likely annihilate you in a matter of milliseconds. With his gadget and some buffs he has been receiving in recent weeks, he has become one of the strongest brawlers in the game. For these reasons, he deserved to appear in the Brawl Stars meta for December.
Clancy's best build:
Gadget: Snappy shooting
Star power: Pumping up
Refuerzo 1: Healt
Refuerzo 2: Strengh
Surge
Everyone's favorite machine, Surge, also repeats in the Brawl Stars meta, thanks to not being nerfed enough and continuing to blow up all opponents solely with his supercharge. At the beginning of a match, he might seem useless, but with the Refreshing Attack star power, he is a difficult brawler to eliminate, even more so if he keeps improving with his ultimate.
Best Surge Build:
Gadget: Power shield
Star power: Serve ice cold
Gear 1: Damage
Gear 2: Shield
Moe
Despite multiple attempts to reduce his impact through various nerfs, this rat continues to be a staple in several matches and especially in the Brawl Stars meta for December. Even when he is at just one point of life, he retains the ability to eliminate you with his powerful ultimate. His presence may decrease with future balance changes, but for now, he remains a dominant force in the Brawl Stars meta.
Best Moe build:
Gadget: Rat race
Star power: Speeding ticket
Gear 1: Damage
Gear 2: Shield
Kenji
The same thing happens with Kenji as with Moe. They have tried to remove him from the meta with several nerfs, but he remains the king of melee Brawlers, thanks to his ability to push away with his basics and deal area damage with his other basic attack, not to mention the X he makes with his ultimate.
Best Kenji build:
Gadget: Hosomaki healing
Star power: Nigiri nemesis
Gear 1: Shield
Gear 2: Damage
Darryl
This rolling brawler also repeats in the Brawl Stars meta, and it is obviously thanks to his very good supercharge that charges on its own over time. So you might not deal damage to anyone and still be able to destroy all opponents with his ultimate and supercharge. If you want to use a tank, this is a very good option, if not the best.
Best Darryl build:
Gadget: Tar barrel
Star power: Steel hoops
Gear 1: Damage
Gear 2: Healt
Rico
This ball machine couldn't be left out of the Brawl Stars meta in December either. This thing tears you apart up close with its gadget, making it impossible for Brawlers like Mortis to even touch you. Additionally, his balls bounce a lot, not to mention his powerful supercharge that can achieve a triple kill with no difficulty.
Rico's best build:
Gadget: Multiball launcher
Star power: Super bouncy
Gear 1: Fast recharge
Gear 2: Damage
Max
With Max, it's the same as with Stu. No matter how powerful the Brawler is and how much damage it can do, if you don't know how to use it, it won't be of any use to you. To get the most out of Max, you need pretty fast hands—in other words, quick reaction speed to dodge all attacks and not die in the process, basically like Tensai. But since not everyone reaches that level, you won't see Max much in matches, even though he is very good and effective.
The best build for Max:
Gadget: Phase shifter
Star Power: Super Charged
Gear 1: Speed
Gear 2: Damage
Brawl Stars sub meta in December 2024
This section is dedicated to those brawlers who, although quite strong, do not fully enter the Brawl Stars meta in December. These brawlers have good potential and could become key pieces in the game if they receive a buff with balance changes. However, they are likely to remain in this category until those improvements or degradations are made.
